Dr. Holman Gao grew up in Auckland and completed his medical training at the University of Otago spending time in both Dunedin and Christchurch. After completing his training he moved back up to Auckland where he spent the next 4 years in various medical and surgical specialties including Neurosurgery, Cardio-thoracic surgery and Intensive Care. Since then he has moved to family medicine and has never looked back.
Dr. Gao enjoys the challenges, team work and variety of General Practice as well as the people that come along with it. In his spare time he enjoys reading, going to the gym and travelling when he can.
